About the event

Easter calls for a beautiful Easter Bonnet!

"The origin of the Easter bonnet dates back to medieval Europe when women would dress up in their best, newest clothes as a sign of religious devotion during the Lenten season. The hats were often adorned with bright ribbons and flowers to symbolize renewal and rebirth. As time went on, these hats evolved into the elaborate bonnets we know today. " https://www.fleursdevilles.com/post/the-easter-bonnet-then-and-now

Come along and enjoy drinks and cakes while we decorate regency style bonnets with fresh and dried flowers. Think Pride and Prejudice - Mary and Elizabeth strolling in the meadows or heading to church on Easter Sunday.

There will be poetry and prose, and probably an easter egg or two, some mood music and more!

Places are limited.
